Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada of Uganda was the country’s military ruler from 1971 to 1979. Idi Amin was truly one of the nut jobs Africa has ever produced. Here are some of his memorable pictures.

1.) Eating in public

Idi Amin was never camera shy, in fact he loved the attention. Anything Obama and Cameron can do Amin already did.

2.) Loved kids

idi child

Before Obama showed he loved children Idi Amin was already doing it. We don’t know who’s child this is. Might be his child.

3.) Macho Man

Before Putin there was Amin. Idi Amin loved to swim. He claimed to be a prolific swimmer, the only evidence we have is of him trying to drown one of him competitors in a video on YouTube.

4.) Bazooka Amin

We said before Putin there was Amin. Here is Amin firing what appears to be a Bazooka?

 5.) Party Amin

Here is Amin in a jolly mood. Seems to be some sort of party or celebration. Probably celebrating his self promotion to the rank of Field Marshal and his imagined conquer of the British empire.

In all honesty, Amin truly was a mad man, a scary mad man. He stood up to Britain and the West. Here are a few more photos of the him.

They say birds of a feather flock together.  Here are a few photos of Amin and some of his pals.

Here is Idi Amin with Gadaffi. Gadaffi was not always mad, in fact some of us here at Storistori kinda liked Gadaffi.

Here he is with his mad neighbour Mobutu. Congo lost Patrice Lumumba and gained Mobutu. The story of Africa.

Mugabe Idi Amin did many crazy things including

amin asia

Giving non Ugandan citizens of Asian origin 90 days to leave the country. Thankfully most of them held British passports.

The end
amin bye
In 1979 he was forced to bid farewell to Ugandans after a successful coup to oust him. He died in Saudi Arabia in 2003.

PS: We tried our very best not to talk about the fact that he was suspected of being a cannibal. Especially with him eating in two of the pictures.
